This story is about this girl that need to choose Bettine her 2 friend and becoming beautiful. One of her friends ask her to run away with him and don't become beautiful and the other one ask her to become beautiful and snitch on the boys that are running away.

When she is about to get operate the doctors start asking her question about this new friend she met over the summer and that just run away. She could not say nothing because she promise her friend to not tell any body were he was going .the boy left her a map with clues that only she could know. the doctors said they could not operate he until she tells them were the kids run away. So they made her go and snitch on were the kid is hiding they gave her all of this equipment so she could survive.

When she got to the place were the kid were they were very suspicious about her.But by the time she spend more time with all of the people there she didn't felt like telling the doctors were they were because she was getting along with them
